Information Needed for a Quote:

As with any tapered quote, some basic information will be needed. Please include as much of the following to insure a faster quote turnaround.

• Job Name (how our jobs are tracked/filed)

• Job Location (if job is to be shipped to site)

• Roof plan with dimensions of building, drains/scuppers, units/skylights, etc.

• Material, and manufacturer if applicable (provide compressive strength if material is EPS)

• Slope(s) desired or existing structural slope

• Minimum or Average R-Value requirements

Sending Plans:

Most jobs bidding may already be on file at the Tapered Design Center.  You can check by calling or emailing us (visit Contact Us for contact information). We can also do complete take-offs from blueprints brought into the Center or plans emailed in any of the following formats:

• .TIF

• .PDF

• .DXF

• .DWG

Receiving the Quote:

Upon receipt of your plans & specs you will receive a quote within 48 hours. Many projects are completed same-day. Our tapered system quotes will provide you, the roofing contractor, with all information need to complete your bid: Once the initial design is in our system we have the capability to change a quote with ease and the job will remain on file by its name.

• Type of Tapered Material(s)

• Average and/or Minimum R-Values

• Total Squares of Deck

• Total Squares Handled

• Minimum and Maximum Thickness (Base Layer Insulation if Applicable)

• Slopes of Tapered and Crickets Insulation
