Speed - Most projects are completed within 48 hours of receiving your fax or roof plans & specs. Many projects are completed same-day! Quotes are faxed directly to the roofing contractor. We also have the capability to do tapered estimates directly from .TIF image files, .PDF image files, .DXF image files and .DWG drawing files, which helps increase the turnaround time. These can be sent via e-mail.
Flexibility - We can combine various types of tapered insulation to create the right total system for your project. Once the initial design is in our system we have the capabilities to change a quote with ease.
Convenience - Being located within Dealers Supply gives us the capability to provide you with not only a design but also the tapered insulation material, which is carried in-stock at all times. Excluding polystyrenes insulation, which can be order within 3-5 days. Our Tapered Design Center has Internet capability and can receive your plans & specs online at your convenience. We belong to various online plan centers and have access to 90% of projects bidding. Not only can we receive plans & specs through fax, we can also receive them via e-mail.
We also provide services such as roof walks to help devise a tapered insulation layout, and job starts on projects that require intricate installations.

The Tapered Design Center provides consulting on all tapered insulation related projects. With the convenience of one of our designer/consultants meeting you at your office, we can help in designing or advising you on a tapered insulation layout that will fit your specific project needs. The Tapered Design Center also provides a 1 hour presentation by way of The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems.
Program Title: Designing and Specifying Low Slope Tapered Insulation Roof Systems
Length: 1 hour Credits: 1 (Learning Units) HSW: No
Learning Objectives: The presentation is designed to help participants gain a better understanding of low slope roof systems. Discussion subjects include, but are not limited to: Over-all roof plans, dimensions, elevations, and insulation thickness; the roof assembly, direction of flow, insulation specifications, and taper panel availability; r-values and average formulas; cricket design, valley angles, and slope in valleys; correction for deck deflection.
Facilitator Qualifications: Chuck Page, CSI, CDT: Bachelors of Science in Industrial Arts Teacher Training with 20 years experience in tapered roof insulation design. Rick Villanueva: Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology with CAD training. Drew Carlson: Bachelors of Science in Business Management.
